  1. Did come up with these two references relating to pressure.. http://www.bluejag.co.uk/specifications--tyre-pressures.php https://www.puretyre.co.uk/jaguar-tyre-pressures/
  2. Thanks for the responses. From what I can tell the 2.1 sport edition came with 17's on. :-), I think originally 225/45 as they are slightly lower profile than the 205's. I'd checked the fuel cap flap, but no sticker so I suspect that got snapped off at some point and replaced with an after market one. As for the ride vs grip etc... What a spiders web. One review I came across commented on how better the 225/45 felt vs the 205/55 (which he'd driven on another model) From my research either can be used and the wheel / tyre width isn't an issue. But as ever Getting too much choice... :-) They do like to make it easy...
  3. First off, sorry if there's a thread already.. I have 2003 (52 plate) x type 2.1 v6 sport (yes I know its the baby one - but I love it) Problem is I'm getting rather confused over the tyre sizes Should I have 225/45R17 OR 205/55R17 for normal everyday driving? Currently has 205/55R17 but I think that's only due to it being the cheaper option at the time... Seeing so many conflicting bits of information on the Web I'm now none the wiser.
