    Many thanks, Peter. So far as I know, the carburettor hasn't been converted. Does that mean I shouldn't use unleaded?

    I have a 1967 Mk 2, 2.4. I have asked various people what petrol to use. Some say super or Shell V is fine; others say I need to add lead. Can anyone provide a definitive answer? All answers gratefully received.

    I am a new Mk2 2.4 1967 owner. The driver seat back is fixed and does not tilt backwards, which is uncomfortable for me (I am 6' 4''). Does anyone know if they can be modified to make them tilt? Someone has suggested taking them out and putting in XJ6 seats. Is that practical/cost effective? All help gratefully received.
