    XK (x-150) Fail to unlock with keys.

    KAD posted a topic in XK / XKR (X150) 2006 - 2014
    Car has been laid up for 3 months with trickle charger. When recomisioning car would not unlock with key fobs. Opened boot with key and confirmed charger working and battery voltage steady at 12.4 volts. Fob batteries both good at 3 volts. Hazards come on when boot opened and go out when boot closed. No horn. Would appreciate any ideas on where I go from here.

    Hi Alan/Peter, Just joined today having recently purchased a 2006 XK rag top. I also have a 2004 Jaguar XJ Sport that has been in my possession for the last 11 years and hope to keep it for another 11! Looking to the future I am going to need a lot of help and advice and am hoping this is something I will get from the club. Happy motoring, Keith.
