Finally solved map upgrade issues. Jaguar where excellent 🏆Lloyds jaguar Houghton le spring did themselves proud with a little backwards and forward. Dropped of car 8 courtesy car, washed, hoovered returned by 4 . TCU &IMC update. Now my car is talking and I can update maps and live coverage. Cost was bearable, experience sometimes frustrating but a positive outcome

I've got a genuine set 4of used red centre caps but being boring and old i want a genuine black set straight swap or I'll buy. I don't want the cheap knock off import items . Original red are on left

I agree the maps are nothing to do with it but ,but the maps cannot be updated as the TCU and IMC are out of date preventing the infontain system to operate correctly. Jaguar Land Rover say it won't effect my vehicle Lloyds jaguar aren't as confident. But they'll take £203 for the privilege.

My 2017 XJL 3.0 diesel portfolio with 30k milage full service history, has out of date maps easy fix,,,,NOT apparently my car needs a TCU upgrade that may or may not fix the issue or may compromise the TCU and head unit, cost of upgrade about £250 cost of fixing if it fails and compromises the vehicle £ 0000 and a new or second hand may not work as it maybe out of date, like me to old. So unless someone has a idea or a spare bank account. A Collins road map is the way forward.

Hopefully that's the answer but I've been at this for 6 weeks constantly blaming myself now I can blame JLR thanks👍

XKL X351 portfolio 3L needs to update maps and infontain system. The car says its a fault at here maps ,here maps say its infontain issue, jaguar says nothing can be done. Any ideas . I've tried lots, many things . Infontain system works, sim card works, here maps work but not live.

I run a 2006 xj 2.7 which is old and needs a lot of TLC but unfortunately my normal guy Tony at Northeast Jag has gone 😢 maybe a result of covid-19 closures . So I need a garage ,mechanic in or around the North East to look after my cars needs any ideas thanks
