  1. Thanks for the info. This would make sense as it is where the key has to be near when the weather gets hot i'll look into it further and report back.
  2. Just bought a cherished 2006 low mileage (56k) S Type. I have known, (coveted) this car for a number of years. However, In all the time I have know the car it has had a problem with the locking system. The operating range reduces with temperature, when the car is left out in the sun for any length of time the key has to be held against cars body between the front wing and door shut line get the car to lock or unlock. This has been investigated a number of times but the weather has always been un co-operative when booked in for a service. Can anyone shed any light, it would also be useful to know where the receiver antenna is located.
