Good evening ladies and gents, Just some advice please? As a previous Jag owner (X-type, 52 reg), I find myself about to buy an S Type, 07 plate. I love them but, as I had to get rid of my X Type due to a gearbox faliure, I am worried about the various owners reports that i am reading about the S Type. Am I being foolish in buying this car? I love it though!!! I am buying this from a Jag dealer, they have looked after it from new, it has only 20k on the clock, and drives like new. I have been reassured by the sales guy that I will recieve a comprehensive warranty on the car for 12 months. They have paid for a years tax and put in narly half a tank of fuel for me. I am worried about the DPF amongst other things........ Some owners websites say that they have had no problems while others say stay away. My heart says go ahead and buy it, my head isnt so sure. Very grateful for any comments, Im due to pick this car up from the dealer on Tuesday.................
