  1. Got the STR booked in at J Cat in Norwich for a full health check and to sort the starting issue. Just wondered if anyone has used them before and can tell me if they're a trustworthy bunch? dave
  2. Hello all. Last night I took possession of my very first jaguar. It's a 2002 s type R. I'm over the moon with it but have a couple of niggling problems I could use some advice from you more knowledgeable people. At least a couple of times last night and today when I've come to start it the engine has turned over and over for a good few seconds before firing. Once I had to take two attempts. The engine spins nice and fast so there's no problem there, it simply seems relunctant to fire. Anyone heard of this before or have any idea where to look first? thanks in advance. These cars are all new to me so I have no clue dave
  3. Thankyou for the warm welcome. I don't know the official names but it is like a gun metal grey colour with white leather and black inserts. No leaping cat on the bonnet and other than a couple of silicone hoses under the bonnet it appears to be very much as it left the factory
  4. Hello all. I'm Dave, 32 from Suffolk and I've just bought my first jag. A '52 plate s type R so I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the future
