  1. My AWD Volvo XC70 with winter tyres allowed me to get going through all of the weather last year but AWD does only help you get going - it doesn't prevent the brown trouser moments when trying to stop. You still only have the same 4 patches of rubber on the ground. I think @Old Peter has the right idea. Stay home and have a brew.

  3. You don't have to be mad to join etc etc.
  4. New new cars leave me a bit cold. I feel like I'm just looking after them for the dealer as there is no real way to make them 'mine'. Plus I'm tight!
  5. If I can't choose I'll have to have one of each. They are a lot of car for the money!
  6. Hi people, I'm Dave from Hull. I'll be lurking on here after getting a sudden attack of Jag-love. It has hit me fast and hit hard! I spent my weekend browsing and test driving X and S types, and I think I have found my happy place. Also love Range Rovers (for my sins).

  8. Remember that P38s just like to flash their lights to remind you that they are there, and that they'll be draining your wallet soon. Lovely cars, but needy! The P38 may not have the latest version of the IR receiver and they are easily confused by interference.
