Well, I suppose this makes me an official member now. I now own a 2013 3.0d XF! What a car.. very happy. Hopefully I will be picking it up this weekend.... Pics to follow:)

Thanks for all your assistance guys. I'm going test driving a 2013 3.0l diesel tonight. Looks like a good low mileage buy with full Jag service history. Looking at the cost of the tax on the petrol doesn't make sense to me and I do have a weekend car for that Petrol thrill. I'll update after my test drive....

Hi, Just joined the club now as I'm considering buying a used XF. Not sure which one though, any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I currently drive approx 8000 miles a year so not loads I suppose. I've always been a petrol head and have never owned or considered a diesel but which is the best engine with the least reliability issues? I've mainly been looking at either the 3.0 petrol and 3.0 diesels but I'm open to any of the others as the 2.2 diesels look like they perform well also. Thanks in advance David
