  1. Hi all, what tools would I need to change the pads and discs on the girl friends 58 plate 2.7 XF on the rear axle. Thanks in advance for any info.
  2. it may be one in a million chance but go to the boot and give it a good heavy thump ... it might not have locked in, another option have you pressed the "valet" button" no that's too simple, ! you are using the right key, the only way you are going to get the kids out of the boot is call the fire brigade, well its school tomorrow, ,
  3. Hi David, I have had jags for 30 year, from the first one I ever got I have never changed makes, by the way I'm new here too, in my opinion the XF is the best of the bunch, I have 4 jags, 2 XF, a X type and a XK8 and the wife is nagging me about all the cars standing, and got to get rid of them, well the first one to be sold will be "HER" XF, see how she likes it ......I would say yes go for a XF, if you do get a carbon build up in the exhaust system a 30 mile blast down the motorway will clear it, got a 2.7 and 3lt diesel and had no problems with good mpg, , drive safe. Allan.
