Well fitted the hose and started it up. Seemed to be a lot of steam coming from the exhausts. Tick over uneven. Took it for a drive, first six miles ran ok. Then engine management like came on again. Stopped car and checked water. Expansion tank full of bubbles. Car then decided it would not start. Couple of goes later it started and of we went home asap. will check tomorrow but think faults agin will be "misfire" . Thinking its head gasket. Any thoughts out there cheers Chris

Hi Guys. I think I have a major problem. Car over heated last week due to cracked radiator hose. I now a misfire on cylinder 7, I have changed the coil (no difference) and am about to change the sparkplug, but I am thinking I might have damaged the valves due to the overheat, which is causing the misfire. any thoughts out there ?. is stripping the engine and replacing the valves a major , major job. cheers Chrsi
