Thanks Steve. I’ve tried a couple of places in the Bristol area. Both claimed they could make CATs but they took one look at what’s left of mine and said they couldn’t do the complex pipe work which feeds from the manifold end into the cat...I’ve got one more relatively local outfit to try and now also the one you have provided for which thanks. Someone will be able to sort me. I’m sure.

Hi I’m new to the forum and also to the delights of owning a Jaguar. I am the proud owner of a genuine XJRS 6.0 V12. Basically its in need of some work which is ongoing but I’ve hit a wall. It failed its emissions test. Investigations showed the CATs had been removed? Quite how it passed MOTs previously is a mystery! Anyway I need two replacements to fit a Jag Sport system. Jag 5.3 cats stocked by the usual suppliers don’t fit nor do the Jag 6.0 litre versions. My car is a TWR XJRS with a original Jag Sport big bore free flow stainless exhaust system. Jag Sport brochures list the parts but no one has them in stock. They aren’t made anymore. So my question and pled for help.... does anyone know where I can get replacements or get CATs made to fit! The car is far too rare and in good overall condition to scrap. The engine and body are excellent as is the interior. Any help and or advise greatfully received. Thanks (I also have a 5.3 red convertible. Running like a dream currently, just needs some new metal round rear arches and some new door cards. TWO XJRs....yes correct. A must slightly barking, But I love em and they are at last appreciating in value....honest just ask any. xJS owner.
