Hi Peter an update: appears that hat the manifold valve has perished so would be letting air out. Getting the valves replaced now so hopefully that will fix the problem and stop the restricted performance warning coming on.

Hi peter Thank you for replying. I had the error codes cleared but it still comes on every few days. I just dread taking to a garage and not kowing what it is and having to replace everything until I’ve spent more than the car is worth

Hi everyone. I have just bought a jaguar S type sport 2005 and am new to this group. I have a problem I need help with please. Every couple of days the amber light and restricted performance comes on. The actual performance is not effected and still drives well but the light still keeps coming on regularly. I have run through a tank with diesel cleaner and also a tank with turbo cleaner any ideas what it could be or how to get rid? thanks
