Re service history you could try asking the dvla if they can contact previous keepers with your details, I know they won’t give you there details due to data protection, as for the noise from the rear of check the diff for oil as if it’s dry it can cause a noise and drag on the drivetrain

New to the forum but not to jags, I’ve had 2 x types (Mondeo in a pretty dress) and changed the head unit with no issues now the proud owner of an s type 3.0 with 65k on the clock but when I changed the hu the alarm keeps going off, so had to change it back, am I missing something or doing something wrong ? any help or advice would be apreciated
