Hi - I have a 2000 plate Sovereign Daimler which has a static mobile phone installed in the centre console. I know it used to work when the previous owner had the vehicle but it didn't come with an active SIM card installed. I have tried connecting a new mobile phone SIM card to the phone but it doesn't accept it. Can anyone assist please? Is it due to the new cards operating on 4G? Do I need an old GSM SIM? Any help would be appreciated Many thanks John D

Hi - can anyone advise / help please. Have a 4.0 Daimler Sovereign which has a static phone in the arm rest. I have tried to connect with a 4G Sim card but it is not recognizing it. Do I need to find a GSM SIM card or is there something else that I am not understanding? If so, does anyone know a source? All the websites that advertise GSM don't in fact end up providing them. Any assistance would be gratefully received and appreciated. Many thanks John D
