    Electric windows x type 2009

    Clive whittles posted a topic in Jaguar X-Type Club
    Jaguar x type 2009. Seem to have a problem with electric windows. All windows apart from drivers window. All the others will only go up and down in small increments. This happens you press for one operation up and down or nudging window up and down. To get windows to rise you have to multi click the switches (8 times) to get them to rise. I have tried with child safety on and off. I also tried disconnecting battery to try some kind of reset. Non of the windows are jammed. The car has only done 26000 miles. It is strange they all go up and down in the same increment .? clive
