Thanks trooper, yeah I'm not too worried about the satnav side, it's more for the phone and possible going for a dab radio, maybe even dvd/tv player

http://Thank's everybody, for taking time to read and reply, yes I've worked the mirror button out, it definatly doesn't have bluthooth, I think it is the 6cd changer, as I don't have the satnav model, how hard is it to fit an after market one though with the heater switches and the shape of the housing.

As the title say's I've been wanting an x type for ages and last week I finally got one, it's a 2.0ltr diesel 05 plate, can anybody tell me what the little button is for underneath the inside mirror, I've been reading through some of the post's regarding connecting my phone, even though I've even got the buttons on the steering wheel, I have the message No Phone, do I take it that I have no way of connecting my phone then, also regarding the radio, I have a cd player under the radio, what's that in the boot that looks like a multi disc changer, on the passenger's side, has anybody fitted an after market DAB Bluetooth radio in. Hi everybody my names Mike and I got myself my first Jaguar, this being an x type and was bought in a rush because I needed a car, I've always fancied the x type and went to buy it from a garage and he said oh it's got no mot, :-(, anyway he was prepared to knock £400 off the price so I could sort out the mot, guess what it failed on, sills, so I'm getting that sorted then I'll have a good car, the car itself run's great with plenty of power, I was impressed with the emissions test, I would like to change the radio to the satnav type or even fit an after market dab one with sat nav in, anybody done this and which is the best option.
