    My 1st S Type

    Sorry to piggyback off of someone else's enquiry but I am also in the market for a new car and an S-Type has become available locally for $7200 (5500 GBP, they hold their price in the US). Its a 2005 model and it has 36,000 miles from new. I know about the sill rot, but what is the 6 speed auto gearbox like? And how about the electronic handbrake. Are they well made, or made of toffee and a given fail? I would also really appreciate any general feedback. Thank you in advance
