    Hi I have a x type 2.0d estate 2004. The problem with engine is when I accelerate up steep hill or heavy acceleration the engine goes into limp home mode and then if I carry on accelerating it cuts off. When it goes into limp home mode I switch ignition off and on and the fault goes away. If I drive really slow and don't go up any steep hill its fine. Unfortunately I live on a steep hill. Up to now I have cleaned egr valve and fitted new fuel temperature sensor. Thanks Shaun
