eBay around £95 - £100 quid, unwrapped every piece of wiring soldered up 24 breaks and cracks all working fine again lol but for how long
  2. My Jaguar xf boot stopped opening with switch or fob had to use manual key which is a pain as i am in my boot 8/9 times a night working is nightmare bending down usually in !Removed! down rain and in the dark. Took the harness off that goes through boot lid into boot was cut in 9 places and a few areas where wire was cracked, fixed them put back together no number plate lights, fogs and boot wouldn't register shut so ended up leaving car unlocked all night as wouldn't lock (double beep). Decided have another go today took off boot harness and all wiring in boot and have another look, found a few more bits of damage, soldered up and put back in situ. Original problem solved, boot opens with fob or inside switch, but now have no number plate lights and one fog light, its possible one of the fog lights shorted as blew a fuse which i have replaced. can i run some new wires from number plate fixings direct to a live or will it !Removed! things up again lol
