Hey all! Just bought myself a 58 plate X Type Estate and it’s lovely however there’s a niggling issue with the steering that I could use some advice on? When turning right, the steering wheel feels a little bit jumpy, like it is bumping If that makes any sense however it doesn’t do it at all when it turns to the left. I have taken the car to a garage to have it checked and they said that the steering system seems absolutely fine with no issues however the alignment was slightly out and my tyre pressures were lower than usual on the front so they sorted those two problems out however the problem is still there? Is anyone able to advise on what this could be or if there is any checks I can do myself to get to the bottom of this problem? The steering feels looser when turning right than it does when turning left. I don’t know if any of that is helpful but any advice or information would be massively appreciated!
