  1. I’m my opinion, Jag or otherwise, if you’re looking to buy a recent model, buy from a franchised dealer. Yes, you’ll pay more for the car, but you’ll also get much better support if anything does go wrong.
  2. Don’t know if this will help, but Years ago, I used to have a Vauxhall Senator that suffered from a very similar problem. After much investigation, it turned out to be a loose belt slipping on the power steering pump.
  3. Hi all, As a newbie to Jag ownership (2017 XF), I have a couple of questions I hope someone out there can answer..... 1. is there a way to lock the wipers in the service position? I have figured out how to get them there, but when the ignition system automatically shuts off after about 10 mins, they return to the park position. 10 mins may be enough to change a blade, but it’s nowhere near long enough to properly clean the screen.....does anyone know if this 10 min auto shut off can be over ridden? 2. This one may sound stupid, but as I said, this is my first Jag. When driving normally, the front DRLa are obviously illuminated, but are the tail lights on too? From what I’ve seen of other XFs on the road, the pre 2016 models look to leave the tail lights off, but I THINK the later models put them on. I want to know if the tail lights are on during normal driving for times when light is good but there is spray flying around. Any advice will be much appreciated!
  4. Recently got my first Jag after almost 20 years driving Honda Accords. Now in a 2017 XF 2.0d 180 Prestige. I’ve found the various Accord clubs and forums to be a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration over the years so hoping this club will be the same!
