    Engine management light on dashboard

    CatarinaM posted a topic in Jaguar X-Type Club
    I have just bought this car, my mechanic cleared the engine management light on the dashboard, but it is back on and doesn’t go. Could this be a serious problem or just a case of the sensor needing to be changed?? I have a 2003 x-type. I’m concerned as I need to drive from Hertfordshire to Kent and back.... suggestions please.
