Hello everyone. I obviously new on here and I have just bought a 17 plate xe 180 awd. I have a bit of an urgent question for you xe experts.. and need your advice. Do other xe owners experience a high pitched pump type noise from inside the cabin.. it's not overly loud but can be heard over the engine on tick over. If you stand near the rear wheels you can hear the whirring pump type noise from under the centre of the rear of the car. Can you tell me is this normal?? It is very much like the electric fuel pump noise I have on my Lotus Sunbeam. Just didnt figure I'd hear it on a Jag XE and need your advice before I take the car back! Thanks lots in advance.

Hi. Look before I start I know that most cars will have stuff go wrong with them I have an Insignia. But I have always wanted an XF so it's time to do it. But I figured id ask you so I am prepared. What issues are there with XF that you would want a new owner to know, or that I need to know about. It's a 66 playe R type I am buying. With a sunroof.. i say that with trepidation as you just dont get a big Vauxhall with a sunroof if you like being dry! So is there anything I need to look at and be aware of before I part with my 18 grand? Thankyou loads, in advance. Toni.
