Try Parkers for your first couple of questions. As for the owner in 2005, I think it was Ford. I believe the 3.0 V6 engine is similar to that in the Mondeo of that era.

The rear blind isn't standard. My 55 plate car doesn't have one. I'd imagine you could retro fit one, but the time, cost and effort involved in doing so is probably a waste. It'd be better just to find a car with it already fitted. Try the parkers web-site for a list of what options is available. I never find it 100% accurate, but it's not bad.

I fitted the Jaguar OEM aftermarket kit to my S-Type. It has Ipod, Aux in and memory stick connectors. Not cheap, but works well and is easy to fit.

Hi Steve, I've just bought myself a 3.0 V6 S-Type Sport which I'll be picking up this Friday. Trading in my BMW 750i (E38) which is a great car to drive but is plagued with electrical problems and has cost me a fortune to keep on the road.
