Well, we got there in the end, water had got into the boot, half filled the battery compartment, shorting the tow bar electric causing the KVM to blow. apparently there are approximately 11 points water can get into boot, but yet there is no drainage hole.........

This morning car wouldn’t open, got into car, cancelled alarm, pressed start, ignition came on then went back off, called AA, they couldn’t open boot, no key barrel in boot lid, (2017 model) tried connecting battery pack to terminals under bonnet but nothing, so he has booked a tow truck to take to garage, anybody know how to get in boot when this happens ?
