Dear All, Hope this finds you well. 2 things I thought I could live with when I bought a 2005 X-Type AWD Automatic Petrol Jag in Summer 2020. Firstly, pressing the button ( on interior door handle ) to fold/unfold the wing mirrors. I would love to be able to do this with key fob when locking/unlocking the the car. Is there a synchronising process to get this back on track? Secondly, when using key fob to open boot ... the boot lid is sticky therfore have to push underside button above reg.plate to release the lid. Again, I would love to use key fob so the lid is released fully open. I'm pretty certain it's the a latch mechanism at fault and requires maintenance/replacement rather than struts. So, is the boot supposed to release and open fully or just unlock and followed with a manual lift ? Please advise, and recommend a reliable Garage source to resolve these very minor but luxury tings. I'm in NW London. Looking forward T
