I have an XJ8 04 Reg Jaguar and the Boot locking device is not working. How do I remove it to fit a new unit

I have a 2007 Jaguar XJ8 Sport. I have ABS and DSC amber faults which also brings up Cruise control not available and the transmission icon has lit up. I am booked in to get ABS and DSC fixed. Is it usual to get these other alarms when the ABS and DSC are in amber alarm

I have recently acquired the above car and looked to set up the blue tooth system. After much effort and disussion with technical friends we asked the forum for help. It would appear the information in the book supplied with the car when new is incorrect. Information from the forum cleared up the problem and my phone is now paired with the jaguar.. Thank you.

my 2007 XJ8 V8 SE AUTO is showing engine management and abs lights when the engine is running with Amber alarm light when I pull away there is a constant alarm noise until I stop what are the problems causing this. any help would be appreciated

Hi Aubrey . Thanks for you info on rebooting the electronics. My XJ8 does have an ignition key but does not have the start button you describe in your text. Therefore I cannot follow the process you have described. Am I missing something. Leccey My Jaguar is a 3 5l XJ8 automatic

How can the electronics on a 2004 jaguar XJ8 be rebooted.

I did what you suggested but did not get satisfactory result so I flushed the mechanism with release oil and operated the unit it manualy . A piece of the alloy mechanism had broken off and caused an obstruction and wash flushed out by the flushing. I repeated your method and both are now working..

where wil I find the powerwaxh pump for the headlights. my car is a 2004 reg XJ8

I have an XJ8 year 2004 and being new to jaguar I have e come up with a problem with the drivers side power folding mirror. If the mirror has been knocked out of position how do I correct it.
