    Unable to open the boot

    Thanks for the information. My girlfriend has just bought a 2005/6 X Type and I'm trying to get it onto the Spanish register. The spare wheel well contains one of the official Jag plates and without that ? Well, Brexit hasn't helped for following the letter of the Spanish law. Oh yes, the front door will not unlock from the outside as well. One has to clamber into the rear and then squirm to the front lever to release it. Good fun, init?
