Hi, writing a post on behalf of my Mum. She has a 2013 XF and one of the pistons has gone through the engine block. It's with my usual mechanic at the moment and he seems to think it's down to oil pressure failure. He's said there's a hole through the engine block and thinks it will also need a new turbo. Couple of people who he knows that would normally do this work are unable to do so at the moment. The car is currently in Essex, but she lives in Cambridgeshire. Does anyone know the best place to get a recon engine fitted and also the costs of doing this? Be grateful for any help. Many thanks
