    to replace a header tank (expansion chamber)

    Can anyone help me? My XJ6 2005 is leaking from the small pipe on the top of the radiator. the apparent cost to replace this small plastic header tank is £199, is there a less expensive way? perhaps there is a well known non works garage or breaker. I live in Surrey but will travel. Thank you for help you may be able to give me. Regards Stephen

    The header tank on my XJ 6 2005 is leaking from the top. My local dealer wants £199 to replace it. I just cannot believe that there is not a cheaper way of doing of doing it ? Can anybody please advise. Stephen (new member)
