  1. Hi. so in 4 years of ownership and 130k on the clock the engine was already in the injectors/pump buggered mileage range and so what happened last week. Now my options are to either go through the process of diagnosing the problems and go on and on forever or to buy a replacement lump off ebay with warranty and drop straight in. The only thing im not sure if the programming and coding of pump and injectors. If the replacement engine comes with the pump and injectors already checked and ready to go what would need reprogramming to the ecu as i will be using the same ecu the car had. and also what are the rough costs of all the coding Thanks in advance
  2. Hi. I have sadly decided to strip my XJ 8 as it had an advisory of substantial rust on chassis last year. had a wuick look last week to see the extent of it and with great regret I will have to get rid of it, work and plan hard and find myself an XK-R in not very near future. The car has been great as my father in law had it since new and I got it off him when he got himself an A8. the car is on W plate with 110k on the clock, in british racing green i am happy to answer any questions and post parts out anywhere. get back to me with anything u require Thanks
  3. I'm afraid that I'm not an XK-R owner but do have a Black 2.0 X Type and an old xj8. Always loved old jags and glad to be a part of the club.
