    It maybe there should be a stop on the motor that's not working. You may need to strip it down and have a look.

    I have just purchased my first Jaguar, it's a 1996 sovereign fully serviced by main dealer and independent. Got loads of receipts for money spent, it has got a few problems, a light knocking from the N/S/R on all road surfaces and the headlining is falling down. Nice project to keep me busy.
