Hi all, As a new member, i recently posted an introduction thread as to whether or not i had made a mistake swopping my trusty Volvo v40 for a 2 lt. diesel X type.Unfortunately it appears that i have!! After driving less than 25 miles, the glow plug light has started to flash and then the car comes to a halt. .After re-starting the engine all is ok but then at no particular set times the light starts flashing again. Any advise please as to what is wrong and how it is rectified.The model is an 04 saloon Many thanks

Just traded in my old faithful Volvo V40 for a 53 plate x type 2litre diesel Have i dropped a b.......... or will i be glad that i've done it?? Got lots of bells and whistles which are a complete mystery to me at the moment.Any loud bangs or vehicle fires in the west midlands may be my fault! Cheers Richard Scratcher
