  1. It was good and in the garage they have had a booster on also. Thanks anyway.
  2. My son's 2008 2.2 diesel wouldn't start at a set of traffic lights despite running fine until he stopped the engine due to a delay at the lights, so it was stopped foe about 5 minutes. Taken to his local garage which couldn't get it started after eliminating the inertia switch and doing other tests, no fault messages came up and still haven't. Taken to my local garage and a newly reconditioned set of injesctors were fitted. It ran for about five minutes and then stopped. Fuel pump was working prior to fitting the injectors but after the five minute running it was found not to be working any more. A new pump was fitted but still the car won't start despite the pump having good pressure. The fuel filter was checked and found to just have good clean diesel in it and was bled for air upon refitting. Has anyone got any ideas what can be causing this, the car was running very well before the traffic lights.
  3. Thanks Peter, will persevere today.
  4. Hello everyone. I have recently become an X-Type owner and joined the club yesterday. My car is a 2009 2.0 Ltr Diesel, manual saloon with 93000 miles and I like it a lot. Today I had a pair of step ladders to put in the car and this required the one half of the rear seat back to be lowered. The head rest needed removing to get the back horizontal without fouling the back of the front seat. This was all done with no problems and now I come to the "numpty" part on my behalf. I put the head rest back in but back to front, I have tried all ways to pull it out, gently, one end at a time and resorting in the end to rage force but it won't budge. Has anyone got a suggestion as to how I can extricate this without damaging the seat or the rest? This is probably the stupidest problem that has been put on the forum, a good start to my being a member. Many thanks, Kenny.
