Thanks very much. Yes it is a pipe but I believe that 3999 is a different part from 3998 which I was quoted. I shall try them though and thanks for your help. I do know that 3998 is no longer made by Jaguar and hence me looking for a second-hand part. Michael.

You may know that Jaguar no longer make part 'mje3998AA' , as part of the power steering assembly. I have my convertible XK 8 stranded in France at the moment whilst I have had to return to the UK. Can anyone either supply a second-hand part or, suggest someone who maybe able to help? I have tried the no.1 this and no.1 that. Michael Ellis. PS This is getting urgent.

Small item but , important to me. Does anyone have a hood tonneau stud or two spare for my car? I am having serious problems obtaining them. Spring will soon be here. I shall obviously pay. Michael.
