    Thanks Geoff, The garage are trying to tell me its due to it being the sports model with wider wheels and lower suspension. Very confused am getting conflicting stories from different people, I could go and get it checked at Jag main dealers but am reluctant to pay out more money while the car is under warrenty.

    We have recently swapped our 2005 x type for a 2006 s type 2.7 sports. A very impressive motor with a lot going for it, my only critisism is the steering does seem very heavy, the garage i bought it from assure me this is quite normal considering the car and tyres. Are the 2.7 Sports normally heavy or is this a problem I need to pursue.
