  1. Thanks John. I spoke to the dealer today, who have advised that a new engine will be required. I bought the car 15 months ago, so out of the standard jaguar warranty and the independent dealer 12 month warranty also! I will wait and see what response I get from Jaguar customer service team, hoping for the best but preparing for the worst I think.

  3. I am just going through the same issue. 54k on the clock, 2017 plate 2.0L F-Pace, Full service history, last oil change just two months ago. We have been told by the independent delaer that we bought it from last year that it has suffered major engine failure and will most likely require a new engine. The car is just on its way into the Jaguar dealer for them to re-diagnose the fault, but expecting the same result. I am really worries about the repair bill, I can't believe we would be in this position with a car that is only four years old. Any advise on how to deal with Jaguar greatly received.
