Thanks for your thoughts. Unfortunately the car is in the local garage for service and annual test, which is where the damage came to light. However, I’m pleased to say I have managed to find a brand new Montreal; eye wateringly expensive but it’s the right one!

Hi out there! I drive a 2005 XKR. Sadly, pothole damage has terminally buckled one of my front wheels. Mine are Montreal pattern and I’m having a hell of a job sourcing a replacement. It appears the gods of Jaguar have declared them obsolete so even known suppliers are not able to obtain them. It occurs to me that I might have to buy a replacement set, probably used. However, I don’t know which sets are compatible with the car’s brake setup. I have, for instance, seen one or two sets of second hand Daytonas. Montreals are like hens’ teeth. Can anyone help please? All advice gratefully received. Keith
