    Engine hesitation

    Hi guys, a couple of weeks ago I found a vac pipe was off the intake just before the maf sensor. After refitting it, the engine is very hesitant on acceleration which points to a lean or rich mixture. I thought maybe the maf sensor was damaged, so replaced with a 2nd hand part from a jaguar store ( maybe not the best idea ), but it hasn't improved. I did clean the original with maf sensor cleaner but didn't make a difference. Is this a knock on effect or is it just a coincidence that something else maybe amiss ?
