Hi there I'm hoping for some assistance with a vehicle I'm working on in South Africa. The vehicle is a 1998 XJ8 3.2l. It arrived as a non-runner after another party had done an engine swap. I suspect the incorrect flexplate is fitted as we have a timing correlation fault present as the engine timing, sensors/wiring have been checked. I have attached a picture of the flexplate and vehicle details in the hope that someone can compare it to the correct item if possible. In South Africa we only had the 4.0l and I suspect this flexplate may be from the 4.0l engine. Your assistance would be very much appreciated.
