    gear box issue

    JAW posted a topic in Jaguar Technical
    I have a 2004 X Type, which I love. The car goes into drive and moves forward, it slips into reverse and will not reverse. Two mechanics have confirmed its a gear box issue, too expensive for me, so I just bought a second hand Jguar XE yesterday. need a reliable car. My Question is, rather than have this scrapped who would want it for parts ?
