  1. Many thanks...looks like I'll be doing it myself but I'll give it a go. David
  2. I have very scratched and dull lenses and I once saw a youtube clip showing how to polish them but it looked very complicated. I'm neither practically minded or have any time to do them (I'm self employed - and struggling) and I wondered if anyone knew of a company in the UK that would do this for me. Alternatively if I have to do it myself - someone mentioned Meguiars....what do I buy? I'm 58 and was beginning to wonder if it was my eyes...it's so hard to see at night....I thought maybe I was just getting old but I think it's the lenses really. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I remember reading something about this when I bought my first Jag 2 years ago. My lenses were completely scratched and fogged up. There is no quick fix for this I'm afraid, the lenses are plastic, not what one would expect from a Jaguar. I remember seeing a video clip on youtube showing how you could polish the lenses back to a pristine condition but to be honest, I looked a real 'trial' of a job - so the only other way is to replace them I'm afraid. Prior to buying the Jag I ran a Rover 75 Connoisseur and I have to say in my opinion it was a far superior car to the jag....but the jag has the better 'look'. If Rover were still in business I'd still be a rover driver.
