  1. Hi all, I have noticed that my X Type (V6 3l AWD automatic) can start in P without me pressing the brake pedal. I can also change to R N or D without pressing the brakes. I guess this behavior is not normal. However I hear a click in the J gate when I press and depress the brake pedal. I've also got a long bip almost everytime I turn the key on position II. It sounds like it's the parking aid. Maybe linked to the above problem? If you guys have an idea, that'd be nice 🙂
  2. Hello, I bought my X Type two weeks ago. I drove it about 800 kilometers to bring it home and apart from a few vibrations at 110 km/h and above, it went pretty well. But during a stop, I put back some gas (sp95), then I start again to go and check the tire pressure. I restarted again to free up space and went for a coffee. When I came back to start again, it wouldn't start. I turn the starter motor for a few seconds and nothing happens. I wait a bit and then it finally decides to start. The end of the trip goes well. The next day, it starts fine. I stop and again it's hard to start. And these difficulties become more and more frequent. I've also got a DSC error message. Here are the error codes I have on the dashboard: DTC : 9205 -> B1205 A879 -> B2879 A141 -> B2141 9318 -> B1318 E510 -> U2510 D900 -> U1900 I also used a bluetooth ELM with Torque and here are the results: ------------------ P0171: System too Lean (Bank 1) P0174: System too Lean (Bank 2) Current faults ------------------ P0335: Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit P1111: [BMW] Engine Coolant Temperature Radiator Outlet Sensor Low Input [Chrysler] Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage [Ford] Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor intermittent high voltage [Dodge] Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage [Jeep] Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage [Seat/Audi/Volkswagen] O2 Control (Bank 1) System too lean [Triumph] Manifold absolute pressure sensor reverse connection [Volvo] Intake Air Temperature (IAT) intermittent high voltage So I changed the Crankshaft position sensor. I tested both the old and the new before installing the new and I got 341 ohms for the new and 355 for the old. And the problem still exists. Any ideas?
  3. Hi everyone, I've recently bought a black V6 3l AWD estate X-Type for a fairly low price. The interior looks like new. The exterior is not bad either, but the chassis is quite rusty. It comes from Switzerland so maybe the salty winter roads are to be blamed for that. I have several things to do to get it up to shape and I hope I'll find some answers in that forum 🙂 All the bests!
