    BCM replacement on 09 x type

    Hi All, Simple question, hopefully. Does anyone know if the Body Control Module (BCM) can be replaced without the need to reprogram the ECU? I have a 2009 x type estate and I'm having a few issues with locks, windows, keyfobs. I have tried literally everything to fix all the issues and the only thing left to try is replacing the BCM. I've heard people tell me they can be sent out to be tested but I can only find these services for the XF models. So my intention is to try and get a used BCM from ebay or a breaker yard to swap it out but I'm not sure if this is something that can even be done.
