  1. Me again, Is my gear knob supposed to be lit-up at night when the car lights are turned on ? Only I can hardly see the design anymore (showing the gear positions) as the numbers are quite worn, although it doesn't bother me personally my wife says it's annoying as she doesn't drive it much so can never remember (as they are different to her car). Many Thanks, Les
  2. Hi everyone, The rear parking sensors on my 2009 X-Type no longer beep when reversing close to something. (The front ones work if I click the switch located above the rear-view mirror). Have watched a couple of Youtube videos but non the wiser. Any ideas ? Could it be a dirty connector or something ? Many Thanks, Les
  3. Hi everyone, Les here., a new Member. Driving through The Lanes' (in Brighton) recently I noticed a rattling type noise every time I pressed the clutch down, move from say, 2nd to 1st, let the clutch out and the noise goes away. Come to a stop for passers-by, press the clutch down again and hey presto, the rattling is back, let it out again, move forward and it goes. If I have to sit idling at a T Junction or some-such then the noise keeps going for as long as the clutch is pressed down and then goes away as soon as I release the pedal and move forward. Any ideas anyone ? Thanks
