Hi Jim and many thanks for your reply. That's a really detailed and well put together website (probably too much in fact) as I can't find the part anywhere... 😞 I've looked under the headings of "Air and fuel Delivery Systems", as well as "Engine", and then drilled down further to each of the individual sub headings, and then the specific parts as well. But unless I missed it, I couldn't find it. Am I looking in the right place??? D.

Hi all, David here. Very long story cut very very short... I have a 2.1L Petrol X-Type that had the dreaded error code P0174. The first garage I took it to saw there were two areas where air was escaping and quite literally "bodged" something together to make it work (whilst charging me handsomely in the process). One of which was an old piece of rubber hose that they cut down to replace the original hose under the manifold cover which had split. Unbeknown to me at the time, the length they cut was barely long enough to sit snugly as it should do onto the next pipe which it connects to. They didn't even use Jubilee clips to hold it in place - it just sat there, barely connected!!! I later discovered this issue and did a temporary fix with the clips as you can see in the photos until I could get round to sorting it out myself. However, the clips keep undoing themselves through to the vibration in day to day driving and as such, the air is escaping again. I now need to get the correct type of hose to replace this bodged piece with and would be grateful if anyone could please provide me with a part number and / or a supplier from which I can get one from.
