Hi, I am Newbie to Jaguar Forum. I have 2009 X Type 2.2 Diesel SE DPF, 93 k miles. Have had this car for nearly 2 years and the Cigarette lighter/auxiliary socket does not work.
The fuse was blown and when replaced, the power socket worked for a few seconds, then fuse blew & flattened the battery completely in seconds. Charged Battery and Socket still not working.
Looks like the fuse is powered live constantly. Think should be powered with the ignition circuit. any ideas how to fix this problem ?
