  1. The local car dismantlers will not accept them as they are already off the car and could be stolen ?.the car has since been scrapped after i sold the body engine and gearbox. To a buyer who wanted to fit the running gear into a mk11 capri
  2. Many thanks will do

Has anyone replaced the complete dash top on the x250 . Mine has suffered the dreaded heat bubble. And lifting. But have managed to get a 2nd hand one in mint condition. Now just need to swap it out

  6. Just had my 2007 2.7d s written off due to a minor front wing dent. (See pic) didn't let her go though. Cat N uneconomic to repair( joke) would rather pay me the best part of 2k than spend £350 to repair( quoted by a local body shop) i have used before and do vintage restorations. Only problem now is car will remain on insurance list as a cat N.. insurance company must have an ongoing deal with copart. As they text me to ask when they could collect the car. Told them never. Anyone else had this happen
  7. Still have the panels. Do not want the scrappy to have them and take them to be crushed.
  8. Free to a good home 1999 jaguar s type front and rear bumpers shells. In mistral blue. Taken from my 1999 3.0 se. Car long gone but have some spares in the garage. Had no plans to get another but now have a 2007 2.7d. So body panels will fit but bumpers a different style Need the space in my garage and they will Free Collection only Message me here Or email [email protected]
  9. Had a similar problem on a peugot 206cc turned out there was a bearing sitting on top of the strut that had cracked after the previous owner hit a pothole. Think from memory there is a rubber damper on the top of the strut on the jags also
  10. Have you had the shock absorber top mount checked not sure if there is a bush or a bearing
  11. Thanks joe But as previously said mechanicals and body work i can do electrics is not my thing. May try to get a wnd hand unit from an xf and see if it will work
  12. Thank you for the reply. The reason i asked this question is on my 52 s type se+ the wing mirrors folded on locking from the keyfob. Also my 08 xf does the same. Is it possible to fit the xf module to and s type.as would prefer a plug and play solution rather than play around with it myself .mechanics and body work i can do . Electrics is s dark art
  13. Hi all. Looking for some info. I have a 2007(56) 2.7d s type s I has folding mirrors but i cannot get them to fold in automatically when i lock the car. Manual folding works fine. Am i or is the car missing something . . Many thanks
  14. Have you had the sock absorber top mount checked not sure if there is a bearing on the top of the shock or just the rubber mount.may even be the collar at the top of the spring.
  15. Body panels still available
  16. Try mark at jagrar he currently has a few s types he is breaking so may have a good condition seal
