    Coolant system & fans

    Pedro Zammitt posted a topic in Jaguar X-Type Club
    Hi Guys, I have a 2002 X-Type 2.l petrol. Have just fixed a broken hose and replaced the coolant. All ran ok but ona very short trip the guage went to red the warning lights came on. Stopped the car but the fans continue for at least 8 mins after switching off and there has been no loss of coolant. Any ideas please. Cheers Pedro
